(SNES) To digest or not to digest

The digest concept works fine for general stuff - when you don't mind getting 
your mail just once a day. I use the digest form for a few newsgroups like 
SkyMap. 

However, if you want to use SNES as an "interactive" way to communicate on 
short notice, you'll have to stay with the instant updates. Or just 
circumvent SNES and contact folks directly like we always used to - a bit 
tedious. It will be interesting to see how the group uses the service: more 
digest or instant update folks? The archive is always available, of course, 
for showing summaries of posts by topic or thread.
