I've been playing around with the demo version of Sky Chart III
(http://www.southernstars.com/skychart/index.html) for the last couple of
days to see if it would be something I would want to purchase.  I noticed
that I can animate, on the screen, the Phobos eclipse of Friday night with
all the Mars surface features displayed.  However, when I set up the
animation, instruct the software to save the animation as a GIF file and
then begin the animation, the surface details of Mars immediately disappear
and Mars reverts back to an orange color filled oval.  Is this a quirk of
the demo or does the full, updated version handle animations in the same
way?
