Keys are a common and recurring problem at virtually all facilities like FDO.
Access has to be balanced with the commitment a person makes. The best
advice? Become a staff member first, volunteer for everything, attend as many
public nights as you can, learn ALL of the ropes of the place backwards and
forwards, show up and contribute repeatedly over a period of months. Then, if
you're ready for even more responsibility (and a few headaches) think about
approaching the directors to discuss keys. More than likely, if a member has
done all of the above, the directors will be the ones doing the approaching!

I agree - they can't possibly be the kind of nights we all want if the public
is invited. And they are a genuine "perk" that FDO can offer to its
supporters.
Looking good for tomorrow night!
