Greetings,

As the subject line reads, I have finally installed the DDR2 onto my re-done
rocker box and ground board. This evening, after tweaking the Alt bearing and
placing some guides to help control the path of the Alt bearings along the
rollers, I can confidently say that the gear/motors work perfectly! I ran
tests in both clockwise and counter-clockwise on the Az bearing and the
up/down of the Alt bearing, all at high speeds, at about 4000 tics of the
enconders per second.

The movement is smooth and looks like it should track wonderfully. I will be
trying out the Roboscope, slew and track software shortly and get better
experienced at inputing objects and letting the GOTO do the work for me. I
hope to have the scope up and running on a regular basis in a few weeks.

After not observing since July, I am quite antsy about getting out and
observing.
