Steve thank you for your recommendation. Gamma-Andromeda is on my list
for viewing.  

I am a bit disappointed that the reply to this thread was so limited.
When this group was developed I believe it was with the hopes to have a
forum for continuing  discussions of astronomy and aid each other in
this wonderful hobby.  Frankly I think this group has been pretty dead
for some time and not sure if the events of 9-1-1 are to blame. I hope
we as a group can get it together again.
