Barry,

Try the Science Library at Brown University. They have a great many out 
of print scientific books. If you have a genuine interest, they can be 
very helpful. I was able to get a copy of a book out of print since 1931 
in French through them when I needed to get some tables that were no 
longer available.

It should be possible for your wife to put in the request through her 
connections if they need an academic connection.
