(SNES) Lunar Occultation of Saturn, Friday, Nov. 30th

Hi Gang,

Just a reminder that the full moon will be occulting Saturn on Friday 
evening, November 30th. This is always a fun event to watch, as Saturn is 
clearly visible even in small telescopes as it slips behind the moon and then 
reappears about an hour later. Occultation will occur at 7:44 PM, with the 
reappearance due at 8:46 PM.

If it's clear down at FDO, this would be a great time to have a number of 
telescopes set up to observe the event. It takes about two minutes for the 
planet and rings to be fully covered or uncovered, so several folks would be 
able to share each telescope.

After the smashing success of the Leonids, can we ask for another clear night 
when one is needed?
