(SNES) Friday 12/14 class Physics for Astronomers // Sky Theater

Hi everyone,

On Friday 12/14 at 8PM [RAIN or SHINE but not ICE STORM], I'll be 
holding the third section in our astronomy classes - Physics. THis will 
be two hour this week and  tentiveky the following week. I'll be 
surveying everything from luminosity/temperature relationships,
nuclear chemistry, the four fundamental forces and the creation of 
elements leading up to the inside story of what happened in 1987
when an astronomer's plate was "ruined" by a huge bright ball of light.

Now this course is for FDO members, but if you are planning on joining 
us we won't turn you away. My only criteria is existing class members 
get the seats before newcomers and we do have a limit of about a dozen 
seats before the classroom is overloaded.

If you haven't seen the FDO web site recently, we have a new "button" 
for the Sky Theater. We are officially off and running with this major 
project. Take a peek and if you have ideas or are interested in helping 
we are getting seriously organized for next year.
