Hi Folks
Newly discovered near earth orbit asteroid 2001 YB5 is hurtling past the
Earth as I write this note. Only about a hundred meters long on its
major axis, it will probably be between the 12th and 13th magnitude
tonight. It started on the Hydra side of Beta Cancri yesterday and will
be well on its way towards Gemini tonight. Here are the orbital elements
for those of you who have suitable software.
