Hi Bob,

As a past officer of your fine organization (RI's only full fledged astronomy 
club), I was of course thinking specifically of you when I mentioned regional 
interest. 

Your facilities in N. Scituate are just superb, but there's not much you can 
do about that dreadful Providence skyglow. As it is, a good number of your 
members frequent Ninigret Park and nearby East Beach Road just to enjoy the 
really dark skies. Many observers in CT and MA suffer from the same light 
pollution problems. So as long as Ninigret Park remains as "remote" as it is, 
why not make the best use of it for astronomers throughout the region?
