Hi Gary,

By golly, there's still hope for TRUE observational astronomy! As a 
star-hopper from WAY back, it does my heart good each time I see another 
amateur discover the importance - and the fun - of this time tested observing 
skill.

I'd say more on the topic, but I don't want to instigate any long rants - 
something that's happened so often with this topic in recent years. :o)

I hope you can get a good look at the upcoming Perseids!
