I spotted a very few through breaks in the clouds from
my back yard in Pensacola.  The weather was not
promising enough to make the 50 mile drive to the dark
site after a physically demanding day at work and
another to follow.  A couple of the club members made
it an all night vigil, they reported some good
meteors.  I work with things that can hurt me, so I'm
not willing to be a zombie the next day at work when
the weather is very iffy.  Sorry all of you in RI got
fogged in - that weather's supposed to stay here on
the Gulf coast!  I'm ready for our weather to start
clearing next month, just received a 25mm Plossl and
Digi-T adapter from Scopetronix for my DV camcorder,
time to start practicing for next year's Mars opposition.
