Re: (SNES) Perseid?



I figured a satellite too. Even if the picture was taken with a wide-angle 
or fisheye lens, the background stars and trails would have warped too.. 
The satellite trail bends oddly.  I'd also expect a perseid's trail to be 
more 'fuzzy' than a solid white line. A few people in the ATMob list were 
talking about this. Kinda funny a newspaper (i think they said it was the 
Globe), would publish the picture and call it a Perseid.  Also note the 
change in brightness along the line. It seems to suddenly get brighter at 
one point and stay constant for a distance (could be the film).

Hehe, maybe someone pulled a fast one and wanted to get something in the 
paper. :)

Looks like a satellite trail to me, with a periodic tumble rate.  Anyone
else with a different opinion?
