Re: (SNES) Aurora

I was outside around Midnight, but didn't see anything. The moon was
washing most everything out.. glow everywhere. No aurora visible. I hope
to catch the Aurora one of these days. The last time I saw it was some 19+
years ago from the top of Old Bay Road in Bolton, MA (big hill). Haven't
seen anything since.

Hi Les and all,

I looked several times during the night, but alas, was clouded out all
night
up here in Springfield, MA. I've been patiently waiting for the entire
duration of the current solar cycle peak to view an auroral display, but
it
seems every time the ionosphere gets a charge sufficient to produce a
display able to be seen this far south, or even souther (?), Mother Nature
has obliterated the sky with clouds for New England, or even rain.
There've
been several really nice displays, seen as far south as Texas and
Louisiana,
but never to be seen in New England.

Ah well, if we had it all, we wouldn't have anything to look forward to,
would we?

Respectfully,

Les W. Lytton
