I think you have a very good  point there. A case in point was that Questar
used to purchase the inside cover of S&T, Astronomy and Scientific American,
month after month and year after year. The first external signs of their
Chapter
11 problems was the ads moving to the center of these magazines followed by
the ads dropping from full page spreds to
a column or two.
