(SNES) Giant Meteor Explodes over My Head. Did you see it too???

Well the subject line says it all.  At approximately 8:10 PM tonight I
was outside talking to a friend  when there was a flash of light similar
to lightning.  As I looked up to the sky I  spotted a large greenish
meteor breaking into two separate pieces.  It was so bright I could see
it even with a 100% cloud cover.  Sorry I can not give any directional
info as I was in a part of town that I was not familiar with and had no
idea in what direction I was looking. ( my guess would be that It was
traveling North to East, but this is just a guess)
