Hi  Everyone,

I took my own advice and spent some time between 6:00 and 6:30 looking at the comet. In my
8x63s, the comet appeared to be approximately 4th magnitude judging by some near by stars
but it was close enough to the horizon that I won't attempt to be more precise. It had a
small tail which spanned no more than a third of a degree (a bit smaller than a moon's
width). There seemed to be two tail concentrations with the southernmost side a bit denser
than the northern side. I'd be interested in other people's comments about this comet.
