(SNES) George Bliven Golf Tournament - Proceeds for the Frosty Drew Memorial Fund

Dear FDO Friends,

As most of your know, there wouldn't be a Frosty Drew Observatory at all without the
support we received from George F. Bliven, Jr.  If any of you are both golfers as well as
astronomers, you may wish to attend a Golf Tournament in George's honor.  I'm not trying
to put pressure on any of you to attend but for those of you who would like to attend I've
copied the text of the letter sent to Charlestown Chamber of Commerce members announcing
the tournament below.

Location:   Winnapaug Country Club
                 184 Shore Road
                 Westerly RI

Purpose:    To honor George for his friendship and his contribution to the community
                 and to continue his efforts to support the FROSTY DREW NATURE CENTER AND
                 OBSERVATORY

Cost:       $100. $40 for the FROSTY DREW MEMORIAL FUND
                         $60 for 18 holes of golf with a cart
                         Coffee and Danish for openers
                         Buffet lunch after golf
                         Award and prizes during lunch
