We'll hope we get clear skies with Mars doing its enlargement thingy, but this has been a
hidious, perfidious, and totally ludicrous year to try to be an amateur astronomer in New
England. Take a look at
www.frostydrew.org\observatory\images\weatherhistory.gif and you may not be so anxious to
trade skies. With 60% total weather closures, 5 closures after less than 3 hours and only
3 openings I was able to stay open more than 3 hours you can see that astronomy is a very
poor risk activity.
