(SNES) Fw: Scope drive base has returned!

The drive base for the 16" LX-200 telescope has been returned to me from
Meade!

I will be at FDO tomorrow night as close to 6:00 PM as possible, and
am looking for a few volunteers to help me re-assemble the telescope.

After the scope is together, there will be some maintenance required,
such as re-alignment and re-collimation of the optics, but once that's
done, we'll be giving the repaired scope a workout, I hope!  Of course,
the moon will be just one day from full, so we'll be limited to the
brighter objects, but one can't be picky at this point!

I hope to see a few able-bodied folks at the observatory some time
after 6:00 PM on Friday, Nov. 7.
