(SNES) Dust Capture from Comet Wild 2

Hi,

In one of the least publicised space missions,  the Stardust
space craft captured dust and gasses from Comet Wild 2, a new
comet to the inner Solar System (having been diverted inwards in
1977 by Jupiter). I found it very amazing that this space craft
used the same technique as project Comet Catcher launched by
school kids (well some of them were college age) from our very
own Ninigret Park. They used sticky material unreeled from the
payload.

The space craft passed within 149 miles of the core which is 3.4
miles across without significant damage. It is due to deliver
its payload to Utah in 2006.
