I discovered the NGC/IC Project website a bit over a year ago, and have used 
it extensively. They have added a lot to it since then, but still have a long 
way to go. But what a great resource it is and will be!

Sorry, Ernie, from the wording of your original post it sounded as though you 
were just beginning your research on the four objects - I should have known 
better!

And yes, Les, what a difference a cable internet service makes -- we're on 
Time Warner's "RoadRunner" down here and it's great. I'm now routinely 
downloading DSS max size images (60 x60 arc minutes) in just seconds!
